She was formerly Bonnie Aiken and lived in Whitewright before marrying, later moving from Denison to Fort Worth in 1912. Survived by husband, a daughter Mrs. Richard F. Hare, a sister Mrs. Ochis L. Wood, and two grandchildren. Both spouses listed illnesses cancer.

The House Ways and Means Committee tentatively agreed to raise social security tax rates and the tax base to fund higher benefits and reduce the actuarial deficit. The plan would boost benefits by at least $3 monthly, extend the tax to the first 4800 of income, and raise the rate for workers and employers.
USDA's August plentiful foods list features king-size freestone peaches the largest since 1947 with a projected national peach crop of 49.14 million bushels. In Livingston Montana William Amsk joked that his growing family is rising fast after his wife gave birth to their third set of twins. The Amsk household already includes girl and boy twins aged nine and eight, two newborn twin boys, and a four year old son. The father works for a local lumber company.
