Whitewright Sees $61,200 State Aid Under New School Plan
Whitewright school district would gain $61,200 in extra state aid for 1978 79 if the proposed Minimum Foundation program is adopted during the current Texas House special session. The figure, part of about $3.9 million for 35 districts in Grayson Fannin Collin counties, uses the pre filed tax formula of 0.19 per 100 market value and 0.205 per 100 agricultural value. The plan also would boost Tom Bean and Bells districts with $47,300 and $61,500 respectively as part of broader district increases.
