New Superintendent Named for Whitewright Schools
Larry Threadgill, 39, formerly superintendent at Koppers, was chosen by the Whitewright school board to lead Whitewright schools. The native of Cleburne, with degrees from Sam Houston and a long teaching and administration background, will replace Dr. Dick Capps. Threadgill plans to assume duties after finalizing his exit from Koppers and will begin orienting locally next week. He and his wife have three children and are active in church and community activities.
