Mr and Mrs Harold Mason and two children of Pekin Illinois and Mrs Bonnie Surrell and four children of Tulsa Oklahoma visited their mother Mrs H H Spencer here during the week.

A U S grand jury indicted Safeway Stores on three counts accusing the chain of trying to monopolize the Texas and New Mexico grocery market since 1954 by selling below cost and triggering price wars. The 11 page filing names president Lingan A Warren and Dallas division manager Earl Cliff, with Braun & Co as co conspirator. offenses center on Dallas and El Paso divisions.
