Security National Bank of Whitesboro reported a shortage of 7714.20 dollars blamed on bookkeeping mistakes rather than employee embezzlement. Bank president Jess Godwin said the loss likely resulted from long-term window-side shortages and that insurance covers the loss while the FBI investigates.
