The First National Bank of Tom Bean was robbed at about 10 a.m. of six to seven thousand dollars by two armed men wearing ski masks, with two women outside in a getaway car. No injuries were reported as officers investigated and a 1969 Plymouth was found abandoned nearby.

Lonnie Dean McCartney 15 will take part in the calf scramble at the Feb 27 Houston Livestock Show Rodeo.
