David Haliburton aged 79 died at his home four miles northwest of Whitewright Thursday morning from heart trouble. Funeral at 2 p.m. Friday at his residence conducted by Rev. C. Chumbley with R. R. Waldo in charge. Survived by wife and nine children: A K Haliburton Tom Bean D W Haliburton Slaton A M Haliburton G S Haliburton C F Haliburton P T Haliburton Mrs O V Looney Mrs Cliff Cobb and Mrs J A Smith. He was born in Tennessee January 30, 1855 and lately lived in Whitewright area after coming from Arkansas. He was a Methodist.

Two Injured In Auto Accident Near Town
M. B. Whittle and daughter Elizabeth Whittle of Greenville were seriously hurt when their car overturned on the highway two miles north of town last Friday afternoon. A tire blowout caused the crash. both were taken to Sherman hospital in Waldo ambulances. Both remained under care with injuries described as serious but improving by Wednesday.
