Farmers urged to report social security wages by Jan 31
Gus Jones says many farmers misstate social security taxes due to annual reporting and rules for farm wages. Wages of 150 dollars or more must be reported, and workers on 20 or more days paid by hour, day, week or month must be reported even if under 150. Form 943 and taxes go to Dallas IRS by January 31.
