Mrs. W. C. Cook Dies Sudden at Home in Whitewright
Mrs. W C Cook aged 47 died suddenly at 8 o clock Monday morning at the family home in Whitewright after preparing breakfast for her sons who left for school and work. Funeral plans shifted from Farmersville to the home on Tuesday afternoon with burial in Farmersville's Odd Fellows Cemetery. She leaves four Cook children and two Yeager siblings and was active in Baptist faith. Rev W L Crane and Rev G M McNeilly conducted the services.

Sherman youth dies after elevator shaft fall
David Arnold seventeen of West Lamar street died after falling through an elevator shaft at the Sherman Ice Company Saturday afternoon. He was employed by the Sherman Produce Company and fell from the third floor when he believed the elevator was up. The accident occurred at 2:30 PM and he died at Sherman Hospital Sunday night at 11:30 PM.

Coolidge Nominates Walter L. Cohen aid for New Orleans customs
