Whitewright Christmas Parade Opens 1975 Season
Saturday brings Whitewright’s 1975 Christmas kickoff with a 10 am parade. A 2 pm Christmas drawing occurs in front of the Dairy Queen warehouse. Santa visits the Whitewright Sun office Sunday from 11 to 2. Parade route runs via American Legion park Earnheart Funeral home Grand and Bond streets. Out of town judges will award trophies as the parade passes.

Reed Tool Company Gives $15000 to Wilson N. Jones Campaign
The Reed Tool company of Sherman donated 15000 to the Wilson N. Jones Memorial hospital building drive. Group Vice President James R. McConnell announced the gift as campaign chairman Ellis Olmstead said the total now stands at 1147700 with the overall goal of 1500000 in sight. The committee urged year end gifts by December.
