Mrs Homer L Ryon 49 died after long cancer illness at Whitewright Nursing Home. Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 p m Sunday in Earnheart chapel with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Survivors include husband Homer L Ryon three sons Thomas Ryan Larry and Gary Ryan a daughter Mrs Bobby Anderson her mother Mrs Nettie Sims a sister Mrs J W Jenkins and three grandchildren.

Kenneth Joe Nicely five year old son of Mr and Mrs Joe Nicely of Ivanhoe died after injuries from a tractor accident in a Dallas hospital. Funeral services were held at Barnhart funeral chapel with ministers A B Fletcher and Houston Garner presiding. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers were J D Butler J W Barker James Clayton and Bill Baker. He was born April 10 1959 in Bonham. He is survived by his parents and other family members.
