Mrs Mary Burchfield to celebrate 93rd birthday
Mrs Mary Burchfield will turn 93 on August 28 and marked the occasion with a family birthday dinner at her son Gus T Burchfield’s home on Carter Street. Born August 28, 1871 in North Carolina, she married A W Burchfield in January 1891 in Arkansas. He died 41 years ago. eleven children were born, seven survive including Gus T Burchfield and B G Burchfield of Whitewright, B D Burchfield of Leonard, A W Burchfield Jr of Sherman, N R Stilwell of Bells Route 1, Eunice Ballard of Hot Springs, and Maggie Brewer of Fresno. She counts 40 grandchildren, 79 great grandchildren and 17 great great grandchildren.
