Funeral services for Marion Thom as Craig 82 were held at Barnheart Chapel at 10 this morning, Rev. James Gatlin officiating. Burial followed in Oak Hill Cemetery. He died Tuesday at Sherman after a long illness. He was born December 28, 1873 in Bells and married Emma Montgomery in 1896. Surviving are three sons, four daughters, a sister, a brother, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Charlie Williams aged 83 of Bonham died at Allen Memorial Hospital after a long illness. He farmed in Randolph until retirement six years ago and moved to Bonham. Funeral services were held at Randolph Baptist Church with multiple ministers officiating. Interment followed in Randolph cemetery. Survivors include his wife, a son John H. Williams, seven daughters, ten grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. A son Bill Williams died in 1936.
