Evangelist James Seigler of Savoy Baptist Church will lead a revival at Hebrew Baptist Church from April 28 to May 4 with Pouston Garner directing singing. Steer Buyers Honored At Buyer's Barbecue
Whitewright High School FFA held its annual Buyers Bar-B-Q at the high school gym to honor steers buyers from local business and civic groups. Recipients included G W Ford, Monsanto Agriculture Center, Whitewright Rotary and Lions Clubs, Pettis Grocery, Edwards Chevrolet, Durant Stockyards, and First National Bank of Whitewright among others. The event also apologized for an oversight and thanked donors including Sonny Gosnell, O K Feed Mill, and Ernie's of Greenville with dinner catered by Ernie's.
