Body of Aged Man Found In Smokehouse
In Bonham Texas E Clevenger aged 80 was found hanging in the smokehouse at his southeast Bonham home late Monday afternoon. Justice of the Peace J S Boggess viewed the scene and presided over an inquest. Captain and Mrs Tom Hickman visited the city as guests of Senator and Mrs D S McMillin and Mrs H T Atterberry. Captain Hickman a Texas ranger has been named American judge for a June rodeo in Lon ton England and will depart soon with Mrs Hickman.

Sherman April 14 A L Tony Hill Jones a Denison businessman and real estate dealer was adjudged of unsound mind at a lunacy court in the county jail and ordered restrained until arrangements can be made to send him to a state institution for the insane. The petition was signed by Jailer Ross Stark after Jones was brought from Sulphur Oklahoma. Two of three physicians testified to unsoundness and Fred Mauldin of Denison testified to a mental decline over the past year with a breakdown about a week ago.

Bonham April 14 five members of the Long family Tom Dock Bob Scrapp and Andrew were jailed after a sudden rainstorm exposed three stills and multiple vats of whisky and mash in barns at Mulberry and Randolph. Ennis Texas April 14 W J Ferris 60 a plumber died trying to rescue three Bristol Ellis County girls after an improvised ferry boat capsized on Trinity River. Boy Cornell Whitworth Dies From Leg Blood Poison
Cornell Whitworth, seven, died from blood poisoning in his leg after being treated at Bonham hospital. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. George W. Whitworth of the Same Stateville farm southeast of town. Lloyd Moore prepared the body for burial. Funeral and burial were at Oak Hill Cemetery Annex Wednesday at 11 o clock, conducted by Rev. Jones.
