The 24 member North Texas Agricultural College band performed on the streets of Arlington last Friday then gave a concert at Bonham before continuing to Van Alstyne for a scheduled program. Lieut. Infant Dies After Birth to Mr and Mrs George German

Man Arrested After Auto Driver Shot Near Greenville
Earl Hannan an 18 year old service car driver was shot in the back near Charleston Delta County while driving a fare. He identified a couple who hired him to take them to Minter before a man fired a pistol and ordered him out of the car. He was hospitalized with a serious wound but expected to recover. The alleged shooter was captured near Greenville and turned over to Hunt County authorities after a lengthy chase.
