Mrs. F. E. Douglas Dies at 78 in Texas

Mrs. F. E. Douglas 78 longtime Whitewright resident died suddenly of a heart attack Sunday while en route to church. Funeral services were held in Graham. Born January 29 1884 in Whitewright she married F. E. Douglas in 1908. The couple lived in Tom Bean Whitewright and Graham with Mr. Douglas serving as bank vice president. Surviving are her husband four sisters and a brother.

Feed Grain Sign-Up Extended in Grayson County

Max G. Davis of the Grayson County ASCS announces an extension of sign up for the 1962 Feed Grain Program to April 14. Participants must divert at least 20 percent of their feed grain base and can receive payments and price support on diverted acres. an advance may equal about half the total payment. Nonparticipants lose price support eligibility. Conservation aid via the ACP Program is available with cost shares for practices such as stock tanks waterways terraces legumes permanent pasture.
