Washington August 3 The Farmers' Bloc pressed its program in the senate after passing the administration bill to restore the farmer's market. Shriners Picnic At Galloway Ranch By Saline River
About 200 members and families of the Order of the Mystic Shrine enjoyed a WaKeeney area picnic at the Galloway ranch on the Saline river north of WaKeeney. The menu featured fried chicken ice cream cake lemonade and various treats. Afternoons were spent in sociability lounging wading and swimming while evenings included music and dancing led by the WaKeeney Band. The note adds that the 1921 Central Kansas Holiness Association camp meeting opens at the Trego County Fairgrounds in WaKeeney with speakers Rev J G Morrison Rev H T Davis and choirs led by Rev Earl Davis and Lester Nixon and runs daily through August 21.
