Graveside memorial for Mrs Jess Nellie Young aged 90 was held June 13 1994 at Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Rev Steve Ulrey officiating. She died June 10 in White Settlement born December 17 1903 in Mangum Oklahoma. Burial followed at Memorial Gardens under Adams Funeral Home. Survivors include daughter Gayle Jameson son Jess Young Jr brother Ollie Gray sisters Effie Jones Alberta Owens and three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Memorials may be given to Wellington Cemetery Association.

Collingsworth General Hospital District has filed a petition in the 100th District Court, Cause No. 6195, to authorize incurring indebtedness and establishing a revolving line of credit. The suit seeks validation of tax levy methods and collection to cover principal and interest. Opponents must appear by July 18, 1994, in the Collingsworth County Court.
