Care Center Adds Bird Aviary for Pet Therapy
Care Center residents received a nine bird aviary this week to aid rehabilitation and daily living. The birds provide pet therapy benefiting residents with mobility limits and dementia while offering a watchable routine of nesting, bathing, mating, laying eggs, and rearing young.
Private Applicator Training in Collingsworth County
A private applicator training and testing session will be held Tuesday July 30 2002 in Wellington at 8 a.m. The event, sponsored by the Collingsworth County Texas Cooperative Extension, will be conducted with a Texas Department of Agriculture representative handling testing. Eligible producers include those without any Private Applicator license, supervisors of restricted use pesticide application, holders of old grandfather certificates, and licensees whose CEUs have lapsed.
