Jewel A. Sugg, 84, a Wellington area resident, died Saturday in Sulphur Oklahoma. She lived at 701 Haskell Street and was active in church and community work, Civil Air Patrol, Rotary Club, and charitable efforts. Funeral services were held December 20 at Schooler Gordon Funeral Chapel with burial in Memorial Gardens.
James Henry Havron 76 died 6:24 a.m. Thursday Dec 15 in Shamrock General Hospital. He lived at 504 Childress St was a Wellington carpenter for about 50 years and a WWII Navy veteran. Funeral held 2 p.m. Saturday at Assembly of God with Rev. Larry Boyd. burial North Fairview Cemetery. He was born Aug 20 1907 in Sayre Okla and is survived by wife Ruby, three sons, 17 grandchildren, one sister and several brothers and extended relatives.
Mrs. Caro C. Camp longtime Kelley community nurse and church worker died at home Monday December 19 at age 94. Born in Cave City Arkansas August 30 1889 she moved to Collingsworth County in 1901 with parents T J and Mary Lewis. Funeral held December 21 at Dodson Church of the Nazarene burial in Memorial Gardens Wellington. Survivors include son Walter Camp of Dodson and daughters Rama Camp Kelley and Sybil Thompson Wellington.
