Northwestern Railway extends toward Shoshone reservation

In Casper Wyoming on May 12 the Chicago and Northwestern Railway begins a four track supply yard at work as the base for a line extension toward the Shoshone reservation. About fifteen hundred cars of material are on the line from Chicago to Casper, arriving at one train per day. Officials expect the reservation to open in June 1905 and the extension to be finished by then, about 160 miles distant.
