Thunder Mountain Mining Firms Expand in Idaho Venture

A group of mining companies led by Thunder Mountain Consolidated Mining & Investment plans major expansion in Idaho. They own key properties on Dewey Ledge, Thunder Mountain, and Big Creek with a 50 stamp mill project and a power plant on Big Creek, plus development at Sunnyside and Dewey. New ventures include the Federal Developing Co expanding on Salmon River and Yellow Pine basin with offices in Edge.

Busy Times in Seven Devils

Pete Kramer proprietor of the Cotshell Seven Devils stage line arrived in the city Wednesday on a short business visit returning home yesterday morning. He notes activity in the upper country with mines in Seven Devils Black Lake and Rapid River and a generally good outlook. At Landore many men cut and haul cord wood as possible resumption of operations at the smelter nears. Cap ram sees activity from reports of a strike with a Portland man securing properties and engaging men in development work. Several new claims located.

Homer Davenport and Exposition Governors to Speak at Lowin and Clark Expo

Prominent cartoonist Homer Davenport, famed for influencing national policy through his drawings, shares a background as a Silverton farm boy. A Special to the Dispatch from Mitchell D says President Barling has authorized Chicago Milwaukee and St Paul to build from Chamberlain to the coast and extend the Bvarts line in Wyoming. The Chamberlain extension will be completed first to serve the coast business.

Stock Branding Law Effective Dates Given for Sheep and Other Stock
