Father Bohn Drops Dead in Rexburg Depot Morning

The body of Rev. Austin Bobo of Rexburg lies at Schreiber and Brennan's undertaking parlors after being received early yesterday from Rexburg where he collapsed on the depot platform at about 7:30 Friday morning from heart failure. He was about 60, living at Idaho Falls, and had been placed in charge of Bingham Fremont and Lemhi counties by Bishop Glorieux. He had been in the field two months, coming from Baker City, earlier stationed in Peoria. Believed to be Alsatian by birth. Fr. Bohn was in Rexburg Friday attending to Catholic services when he fainted at the depot. Rev. Godachalx of Weiser was summoned to Boise to assist at the funeral.

Japanese Scouts Advance Near Manchuria In March Clash

Army headquarters in Manchuria reports scouts advancing toward Hailong clashed with about 3000 enemy cavalry at Sanchengtza 80 miles northwest of Seilung on March 28. The foe of roughly 4000 withdrew to Haloang. Stores of cereals lie between Yongicheng and Sanchengtzu as distances to Bieng joheng are noted. Dead Man Found in The Payette River

The body of an unidentified man about 35 years old, 5 feet 4 inches, with a blonde mustache, was found floating two miles above Payette. Recovered in April, an inquest held in Payette city yielded no identification. two dollars and a plug of tobacco were found. Authorities suppose he fell through ice while attempting to reach an island during the cold spell and drowned.
