Sam’s Do It Yourself Wills and Contracts Cautionary Tale
A humorous cautionary tale based in Ohio shows Sam writing a will and several house contracts with store bought forms. The will disinherits his wife invalidating the estate and leaving one third to her. He also contracts for a house and painter without proper liens, making the debts hard to settle. A contract with a minor for a car is invalid, non enforceable. The piece warns against DIY legal moves and notes the estate will take long to settle.

How Can I Fix Loose Wall Paper That Loosened
A reader asks how to repair wallpaper that has peeled away. Use a flour and water paste to reattach, applying under seams with a medicine dropper, puncturing bulges if needed, then smooth with a damp sponge. Prevention tip: cover hot starch mix with a tightly stretched cloth to avoid a skin.
Covetousness and the Rich Fool in Scripture
R H Ramsey writes that covetousness underpins all commandments and harms souls. The Sunday School lesson analyzes the rich fool who hoards wealth, excludes God, and dies. His earthly abundance yields no heavenly treasure, highlighting the danger of material obsession.
Lessons on covetousness and true wealth in Luke 18
A sermon fragment cites Luke 18 15 and parallels with Mark 10 17 22 to warn that earthly riches cannot secure eternal life. It contrasts the rich man’s desire for gold with Jesus urging pursuit of the kingdom, noting true wealth lies in use of possessions and spiritual fidelity.
