Aunt Lydia Pierce died after a paralysis strike on Tuesday evening following a stroke on Monday. Born September 27 1834 she married James Pierce October 18 1854 and had ten children. four survive with grandchildren and other relatives. Funeral services were held at the Baptist church with interment in the Mason ic family lot.
