Prohibition State Convention in Ohio Sees Record Attendance
The Prohibition party held a major state convention in Zanesville on April 29-30 with over 600 delegates and many citizens in attendance. Temporary Chairman Pinney led proceedings, with speeches by Dr H C Mead and national organizer Quincy L Morrow advocating unity, fundraising, and aggressive campaigning to elect a Prohibition ticket in Ohio.
