Dr Paul Fisher was named state veterinary surgeon. Officials discussed poultry displays for the Ohio State Fair and a possible Dayton substation for the Agricultural Experiment Station during a multi-city itinerary to Cornell, Geneva, Guelph, Lansing, and Dayton.

Death of Mrs J B Myers in Wooster
Mrs Mary A Myers aged 68 died at her home on South Market Street on Monday June 9 at noon. A fall last year broke her hip and paralysis months later contributed to her death. Born in Berks County Pa she lived many years in Wooster and was highly respected. Survived by husband J B Myers a court bailiff and one daughter Mrs Charlee Balknap of Brooklyn NY who were with her at death. Funeral services were held this afternoon.

Death of Mrs Catherine Laubach in Wooster area
Mrs Catherine Laubach aged 77 died at her daughter Mrs Fred Teacher home in South Bend Indiana on Friday June 6. Widowed of Rudolph Laubach, the remains were brought to Wooster Saturday by son George Laubach. Funeral services were held at the home of daughter Mrs John Horn on North Bever Street conducted by Rey Lowry. Survived by daughters Mrs John Horn and Mrs Fred Tescher two Wooster sons George R and James Lan bach.

Orrville man seeks 5000 damages from ex mayor Fiscus
Daniel Leichty of Orrville files a petition for 5000 damages against ex mayor J M Fiscus and bondsmen N C McDowell and Mrs J M Fiscus. He says Fiscus issued a warrant for arrest last June for maintaining a nuisance, was found guilty and fined 100 dollars and costs, and ordered sent to Canton work house for six months. Leichty alleges mental and physical suffering and injury to his good name after the case and seeks 5000 dollars.
