A Wooster ministerial group calls for petition to the U S House of Representatives in Washington DC. They oppose Brigham H Roberts’s elected Utah seat over polygamy and law enforcement concerns, citing moral and national image objections.
The Werner Company, long in receivership, completed reorganization with a New Jersey incorporation of 3 million dollars capital. Directors include B F Schenk Robert Stuart J J Sullivan I J Dunnely G BE Offord G W Crouse P E Werner. Officers: P E Werner president and GM J Sullivan vice president Robert Stuart chairman Arthur Tower secretary treasurer. The firm is a major engraver and graphing concern.
Jacob Zapp owner of a Wadaworth flooring mill died at work after his coat snagged on a nail and wound around a revolving shaft. He attempted to drop from the trap door from second to first floor but could not call for help as the collar tightened. A workman freed the mill and life was extinct. Death caused by strangulation.
