Strangled Miller Killed by Revolving Shaft at Wadaworth Mill
Jacob Zapp owner of a Wadaworth flooring mill died at work after his coat snagged on a nail and wound around a revolving shaft. He attempted to drop from the trap door from second to first floor but could not call for help as the collar tightened. A workman freed the mill and life was extinct. Death caused by strangulation.
