Careless Handling of a Revolver Ends in Death
Walter Clark eighteen year old son of O H Clark of North Grant street died at his parents home after a revolver discharge sent a blank cartridge into his head. He developed tetanus after initial wound complications and died Tuesday morning.

James Sterrett died Friday morning at his daughter Mra HN Qutter's home near Fredericksburg. He was 87. The funeral was held Sunday at 10:30 a.m. conducted by Rev. A. N. Bird.

State Board of Health Visits Wooster for Water Pump Plan
Wooster officials and the State Board of Health discussed pumping Apple Creek water into the city supply. The group reviewed contamination risks from Apple Creek, Blooming ton wells and Reddick water, with calls to hire a consulting engineer and pursue a reliable gravity system. Pumping was stopped last Friday as talks continued.

Monday work on the road bed of the A. & W. Ry began on Frank W. Miller land at the east end of Henry street. Geo. W. Orthe and Daniel W. Hosler supervise with seven teams and about 20 men. The bridge gang starts with the race bridge south of Naltxger’s mill. Camp also contracted Geo. Bender for 40 acres of timber and Lake & Co. to saw it into ties, Lake expecting 12 000 ties from the 40 acres.
