The 3rd annual Wayne Sordeldierts and Sallorte secolation meeting drew a large crowd at City Park on Thursday with a Co. D exhibition drill. Jehiel Clark aged 87 years 4 months 11 days died about 6 p m Friday at his daughter Mrs J R Zimmerman’s home South Buckeyeat He served in the War of the Rebellion with the 75th New York Regiment Vol and was mustered out as a captain He survived by Mrs Clark two daughters Mrs Zimmerman of Wooster and Mrs G P English of Chicago and one son John W Clark an attorney of Chicago The funeral occurred at 4 p m Monday from the Zimmerman home with Rev FE L Kemp officiating
Prof. B. F. Hoover, longtime Wayne County educator and former Lodi superintendent, was accidentally shot near Livingston Montana on August 2 while hunting with a friend. He edited the Livingston Times and was born near Weber nville Wayne Co Ohio. His remains were buried near Livingston on Friday. Subscribe for the HERALD, 76c a yr.
