Hon John M Oberly aged 62 died suddenly Saturday afternoon in Concord New Hampshire while on business from Washington D C. Survived by wife Virginia and daughters Edith Eckels Gertrude Roth Beatrice Portia and Eunice. Oberly held multiple public posts including Indian Affairs Commissioner and Civil Service Commission member. He began in Wooster and later lived in Cairo Springfield Bloomington and Washington.
