Tragic Fort Dodge Clerk Dies After Coal Car Accident
Harold B. Cooper, 20, chief clerk at the Mt. & St. L. freight office in Fort Dodge, was killed Saturday afternoon when a coal car wheel passed over him. Cooper had eight years in railroad work and previously served as an accountant for the M. & St. L. in Minneapolis. He was regarded by officials as the most capable clerk at his Fort Dodge office.
