Three Forest Fire Victims Buried in One Grave
In Clarksville Indiana on September 18 the funeral for John Shaw's wife and adopted daughter and son was held at the Methodist church. The three bodies were placed in a single Lynwood cemetery grave marked by a black and two white caskets. The victims died in forest fires near Moose Lake Minnesota. Mr Shaw will travel to Minnesota to retrieve belongings.

Thieves Grab Entire Shoe Stock From Salzer Store
Crestun Tar October 18 thieves stole the entire adaptive stock of shoes from the bankrupt store once run by William Salzer. Deputy U S Marshal Leg Healy had guarded the packing area while the thieves moved the goods without a trace. The noise of nail ing up boxes alerted occupants but not enough to raise alarm.
