Mail delivery will be heavy Monday afternoon June 1 due to a closed weekend post office. Special delivery mail is increasingly common here with over 1,000 special letters and packages handled last Sunday, Mother's Day, as Waterloo records a strong showing in the state.
Moses Franklin Batcheller leaves his wife Alice E I a bare $200 in his will filed for probate, noting she has separate property sufficient to maintain herself. The will directs the estate to his children.
The will leaves six hundred dollars to Jes sie M Donovan of Perry Iowa, Lacy D Morgan of Cedar Falls Iowa, and Anna P Bartholomew of Ipswich South Dakota. The remaining estate goes to Everett L and Francisi of Ipswich who are named executors.
