Marshal Yohn Under Arrest in Fatal Wounding Case

Greene June 28 Special. Marshal Ed Yohn of Butler County is jailed on bond after fatally shooting George Mettler who resisted arrest at the depot. Mettler 24, 250 pounds, had recent trouble with assault charges, drink, and a pending legacy dispute. Funeral held at the Methodist church.

McManigal Case Attorneys Denounce Treatment Claims

Garter Saves Woman Lifes as She Falls from Window

In Providence Rhode Island a 36 year old woman dangled head downward for twenty minutes after losing balance from a second story window. Her garter snagged on a spike and prevented a fatal fall.
