Danish Service Flag Dedication At Fredsville Church
The Danish Bethlehem church at Fredsville near Cedar Falls held a crowded dedication of a service flag donated by Jens G. Theusen honoring 60 young men called to service, with Rev. I. A. Holst delivering the principal address and Mr. Theusen also speaking. The list includes Henningsen, Hansen, Agaard, Sorensen, Juhl, Svendsen, and many others serving in camps and abroad. The article also notes wartime travel cuts, expected big fall sales, and local notices.
