Five Waterloo contractors bid on 14 bridge items in a county program with W. A. Burton’s lump sum of 8400 the lowest bid. Olson, Waterloo Construction, Fifield, and Cedar Falls Construction completed the field, with work focusing on concrete culverts and a T-beam bridge on primary pad 57 south of Cedar Falls.
