Mary Hunt Stubbs obituary a Waterloo resident dies

The remains of Mrs. Mary Hunt Stubbs were brought from Des Moines to New Providence for burial in the Friends cemetery. A former well known resident of Waterloo, she died after a paralysis stroke at her daughter’s home in Des Moines. Born October 19, 1836 in Ohio, she was the widow of Enos Stubbs. five sons and two daughters survived.
