Dr. William Roy Butler aged 71 5 9 died at his Boone home Tuesday morning after a four month illness. A Nashville Medical College graduate he practiced in Butler Tennessee for decades and leaves a large family including ten children. Burial followed at Mountain City with Masonic and Methodist rites, paying tribute to a beloved physician and community figure.

Cincinnati reports the Tenth Infantry honor guard stationed at Fort Thomas Ky returned to their post as the mausoleum for former President Warren G Harding was completed.
