Homicide Case Sentenced to Seven to Ten Years

Henry Yates of Valle Crucis was badly injured Friday afternoon when struck by a car driven by Perry Moody of Sugar Grove opposite Boone courthouse. His left leg broke above the knee and three ribs were fractured. He was rushed to the hospital then to his son Bob Yates’s home and is improving.
