Henderson dies former Speaker and war veteran in Iowa

David B. Henderson former Speaker of the U S House of Representatives died at Mercy Hospital in Dubuque Iowa of paresis after a long illness nine months. Funeral services will be held in Dubuque with a eulogy by George D Perkins and his body to lie in state at the Episcopal Church. Henderson had a long political career from 1882 in Congress and was the first west of the Mississippi to serve as Speaker.
