Samuel Shipley a government engineer, driven by jealousy, shot his wife in their Ninth Street southeast home last night, then killed himself after forcing his son to escort his sister upstairs. Mrs Shipley died at Casualty hospital. four children survive. An inquest will be held. the letter Shipley reportedly wrote was not found.
