Bridegroom in Hussar uniform reaches St Bartholomew's New York nearly an hour before the bride who is seven minutes late. Curious throngs kept away as guests waited through a concert until the ceremony began. The church edifice was richly decorated for the nuptials.
New York February seventh wedding of Helen Vivien Gould aged 18, daughter of George J Gould and Edith Kingdon, to Lieutenant Graham Tlope Beresford Decies of the English army. Bishop Greer officiated at St Bartholomew’s Episcopal. George Gould gave away his daughter as crowds of New York society watched from Madison Avenue. Guards and police controlled access. decorations featured lilies, azaleas, and palms. grand floral arrangements and a music program preceded the ceremony.
London police raided three Stepney streets near Sidney street early February 8. They believed Peter the Painter, wanted for the murder of three policemen in Houndsditch, may be located there. After 4 PM, officers withdrew, arresting a woman sought since December and a Russian man.

Orozco claimed his men fired 50, federals retreated to Juarez walls, and reinforcements were sent to guard the American side while Orozco eyed a new assault with Blanco en route.
Mexico City February 7 Henry Lane Wilson the American ambassador said he was instructed to ask the Mexican government to avoid further Red Cross violations after alleged firing on an American under the Red Cross flag near Juarez Sunday. He reported assurances that all care will be exercised in the future.
