Bomb outrage claims broad toll as premier's daughter aids arrest
In St Petersburg a bomb explosion at Peterhof and a shooting on a station platform left thirty-two dead and many injured. A young woman, believed linked to anarchist groups, fired five shots at General Min, then surrendered. His wife restrained the assassin, who warned the handbag she carried contained a bomb. The attack targeted repressive measures by a battalion under Min's command and followed Moscow unrest last December. Premier Stolypin's daughter was among the wounded. The central committee of the Socialist Revolutionaries issued a proclamation threatening further action if government policy does not change.
