Edith Chilcote age 68 was found dead in her home at 314 Fast Second Street this morning by her brother Will A. Chilcote. Death resulted from heart trouble after years of angina and scarlet fever left her with a weak heart. Funeral services will be Friday at 2 PM at L A Jones funeral home conducted by Dr B C Wilzeman and Dr W W Bowers. Burial in Elm Grove cemetery. She was born November 18 1874 south of Washington and lived here all her life. She was active in the Methodist church and Sunday school and a member of the Fortnightly club and Daughters of Union Veterans. Surviving: sister Mrs C D Weldin of Brighton and brother W A Chilcote of Washington.
