Highway wreck near Ainsworth injures two men
A collision at the intersection of primary road No 2 and No 161 east of Ainsworth involved two autos and a hog truck. Injured are B. H. Mallory, Hamp ton Iowa, with head lacerations, and H. J. Ladner of Buffalo Iowa with a wrenched shoulder. The truck, driven by Constable William Lopshire, spilled pigs that scattered as deputies and volunteers corralled them in the rain.

Lightning Splits Brighton Home In Runaway Bolt
A vivid lightning strike hit the bungalow of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence White in northeast Brighton at about 8:30 this morning. The bolt split the seven room house, severing the living room and front porch from the rest, with repairs estimated at 890 to 1000 dollars. No fire occurred and no injuries were reported.

Driver of dynamite laden car killed in Iowa collision
