Seven Iowans died in weekend incidents including a head on collision near Lone Tree. Victims include Carl T. Kirk 76 Iowa City in Mercy Hospital from crash injuries and Charles Robinson Jr 15 Chicago ill who drowned in the Mississippi River. Robert C. Eyestone of 623 North Avenue B died at 3 30 a m today at Washington County Hospital where he had been a patient since April. Funeral services set for 2 p m Wednesday Sept 24 at Jones Funeral Home with Dr. Lloyd Latta and Rev Walter Smith officiating. Burial in Elm Grove Cemetery. Eyestone born Jan 7 1938 in Moline Ill son of Clifford E and Mildred W Hough Eyestone. He attended Moline schools, graduated Washington High, starred in mile run, joined National Honor Society, Iowa State College on Naval Officers training scholarship, Sigma Chi member. Survived by parents, one sister Beverly, one brother Richard both at home, paternal grandmother Mrs C L Eyestone, and several aunts and uncles.

Riverside services for Mrs. Cloyd I Cress 83 note she died Sunday at home. Last rites set for Wednesday at Trinity Methodist Church with Rev C D Garrett officiating. Burial in Riverside cemetery. She was born July 5 1875 in Rio Illinois and married Cloyd Cress July 14 1897. They marked 60th wedding anniversary earlier this year. Fort Dodge Man Dies In Crash Near Ogden
A Fort Dodge man, 65, Matt P. Ray, an engineer for the Minneapolis and St. Louis Railroad, was killed in a crash on US 169 near Ogden. Douglas Auten, 25, a Fort Dodge fireman, was trapped in the overturned vehicle and rescued after more than a half hour. he was not believed seriously hurt. A third driver, John Dunn, 73, Ogden farmer, struck the Ray vehicle after allegedly failing to stop.
