Khrushchev warns U.S. on China and Formosa clash
In a sharp note to President Eisenhower, Premier Khrushchev says Communist forces from China will expel the U.S. Army and Navy from Formosa if Americans do not withdraw. He warns that U.S. resistance could spark a new world war and accuses Washington of using Formosa as a springboard for attacking China. The Red broadcast says the 3 million strong Liberation Army is training for combat amid alleged American provocations.
