Rubio Quilting Club Visits Keota For Dinner Meeting

Rubio Ladies Quilting club traveled to Keota for dinner at the Golden Buckle Buffet in September to honor birthdays. Gifts were given to birthday honorees Mrs. Jack Hesseltine Mrs. Craig Morgan Mrs. Grace Tinnis and Mrs. Dick Stagers. Guests included Mrs. Jerry Hartnell.

Fitness council to survey Iowa recreational facilities

The Governor's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports moves to survey Iowa facilities and programs in schools and communities. Bill Sorenson of Jefferson says the study will map strengths and weaknesses to boost local fitness efforts and increase use of underutilized spaces.
